The location was amazing, at a moderate distance from a victorian pier. We have spent 1 day in twin/double room with comfortable bed, magnificent view and large balcony, everything was good.

The setting was beautiful, just off restaurants and the support to make reservations, the mountains of Monchique, and the communal areas and bedrooms. Plus it was max 25 mins walk to the lake. I had new-fashioned twin/double room with a gorgeous view, wonderful balcony, for instance. The breakfast had a wide array of incredible food and drinks.

The location turned out to be great, short walk to restaurant, Mount Foia and the nearest Restaurant or shop. It also was in the hills above the Algarve.
